Dear Readers

Greetings!

Dear all, I love you and I am proud to be starting this new blog (finally) after being away for awhile. You readers inspire me to perspire and that is truly aspiration. I had to sling that out there. :)

After much thinking and listening I have to come realize how much I enjoy words and wordiness. Are they not awesome? SERIOUSLY.  Words are the meanings and the symbols we use for actions and feelings that have a deeper equation put into them on a constructive basis. They mean something to us, but contemplating them is unique because truly, not every word means the same idea to another individual. For instance "Hello" means, "Hi!" Or "Hey", to us. But what about a person living in Budapest? Or Sao Paulo? To them (if they've never studied English) it would probably look like a bunch of jumbled confusion all mixed up together in interesting ways. Like, how I feel about Italian. For some reason I have always enjoyed thinking from the outside looking in because it's just a nice perspective to think about being in someone else's place. You begin to wonder what their life must feel like. But once you discover the meanings and the symbols, learning another way of speech can become intensifying!

Anyway, discovering yourself and finding the symbols around you in your life can be a great encouragement as long as you know in who you trust in. I like to think of Nephi.

In fact there are so many great examples you can find all over the Book of Mormon and that is just a few of the other reasons I am highly thankful for this book. It is powerful! I love reading it and I want to continue to learn, study and ponder in depth.

3 P's? Prayer and pondering equal power!

I know the Spirit can reveal truths to us as we diligently try hard to be obedient and have the desire to hear. "He that hath ears to hear let him hear" Just like in Kung Fu Panda when Master Oogway was talking to Po about worry and trouble causing the water to wave, but when you take the time to pause the water becomes still! The answer becomes clear! YES. We need to take the time to thank our Father in Heaven for the blessings we have and continue each day pressing forward in faith. I love old wise turtles.

Another favorite scripture I have been thinking about is in D&C when the Lord is answering Oliver Cowdery. "Behold, you have not understood; you have supposed that I would give it unto you, when you took no thought save it was to ask me." We must ask in faith and have patience because all of the answers we seek will be given according to the Lord's will and timing, so we need not fear. He loves us and wants our best happiness. Life is learning to enjoy the ride, but to carry on with a cheerful countenance amid trials and sorrows.

The gospel is the most beautiful thing on earth! And we have it!!

I had an excellent day today! I certainly felt much better having a day off to relax and finish chores, and the multiple tasks I was set on, but I am also glad the side affects from my flu shot from yesterday wore off! I tell ya, it was hard towards the end of my shift at work because I was feeling loopy and weird. It is especially important working in the kitchen to have my mind focused on what I'm doing so I was sort of ready to say, I'm down negatron. My difficulty level spiked up completely 110% but I decided I would try harder anyway, and I took a lot of resting time outs. "No way can you get down now, you got this! Don't give up nowwwww" I gave myself a pep talk and it was awesome.

I am currently in the mood for Chicken Alfredo Pasta with lots of Parmesan. Goodnight.

Sincerely,
The Girl with the Green Banana
